Introduction to Tea Parties

Hello, my name is Susan Asher, and I am a tea party hostess and owner of Thyme-out Tea Parties. I will go to your home and create an elegant, relaxing English-style tea for you and your guests.

Your cost includes food, beautiful table settings, linen napkins, background music and silk flower arrangements. I prepare all the food in your home or at the party location. A typical menu includes two blends of tea, scones, three types of sandwiches, and desserts. Just supply the guests and I'll do the rest!

Teas are perfect for celebrating life's milestones and creating a special memory. Consider a tea for birthdays, showers, mother/daughter teas, church and social groups, graduations, business meetings, and holidays.

I serve Quincy, Illinois and nearby communities. If you live outside the Quincy area, I can provide a plan for you to host the perfect tea party. It includes menus, recipes, timeline and tea party etiquette.

If you are interested in starting a tea hostess business, I've developed a tea hostess business training manual. This manual will help you through the initial stages of starting your business, including marketing and promotional ideas you can use. It also contains information on menu planning, recipes and what to pack for a party. I can also do a one-on-one tea seminar to help people get started - click here to find out more information. So if you love tea and want a creative job with a flexible schedule, becoming a tea party hostess may be right for you. It is great for anyone who wants to control their work schedule, meet nice people and have a very rewarding career.
